It has been several months since we
stayed at the Electra Palace and my 4 year old son keeps asking me to
take him back! Wonderful people, great food - fantastic location right
in the PLAKA - and my wife says the masseuse is great too. Also try the
corner local restaurant to the right of the entrace one block away --
the one crowded with locals. They have great food. I'm posting a
picture of the indoor pool, which we had to ourselves each time we went
down to swim. We didn't try the outdoor pool which overlooks the
Acropolis and Athens (see pic). Don't miss the breakfast with the Greek
cold cuts, olives, nuts, cheeses, fruits and freshly squeezed orange
juice. We were lucky to have a wonderful view of the Acropolis from our
room.

Great
location in the heart of Plaka, averting is on their door-step.
Reception was very efficient; our luggage was at the room before we
were. Our room was nicely proportioned, very clean and beautifully cool
after the heat on the streets.
Roof top pool was a real treat but because of limited space a slight
lack of sun-beds and shade. We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was
fantastic, great food and professional but friendly service. Breakfast
was a good buffet, let down a little by the hot food not being very hot
at all. All in all an excellent 5 star hotel.

sightseeing all day or have your business meetings and come back to
Electra Palace Hotel and relax, either at the "Motivo" restaurant, the
"Electra" Roof garden restaurant with one of the most breath taking
views in Athens, have drink at the "Duck-Tail" bar or simply
have room service bring you what you want to your room. When
you are finished with business and sightseeing you can have a dip in
the swimming pool which also has a Jacuzzi or visit the wellness area.
