The countdown has begun for the exhibition, ITB Berlin where the whole world meets. The exhibition organizers call it, “Where Global Business Happens”. Its true!
To be more precise its not only an exhibition. Its a combination of trade exhibition, public exhibition and the biggest professional convention worldwide, which attracts tens of thousands of visitor, exhibitors and media representatives every year.
Last year, ITB Berlin 2009 was conducted occupying 160.000 sq. m. with 11.098 exhibitors of which 8.702 were foreign exhibitors. The statistic which is really outstanding is the number of visitors – 178.971!
All of this, the year that the world economic crisis was at its best. I bet that this years ITB Berlin 2010 will top last years numbers.
This year, ITB Berlin 2010 will begin on March 10th and will go all they way to March 14th 2010 at the fairgrounds of Messe Berlin. The exhibition doors will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm every day. The first three days, March 10 – 12 are only for trade visitors and the last two days are open to both trade visitors and the general public.

Now if you want to get your ticket on location you can do it only from ICC and the Entrance South. They will be open for sale on March 8 from 12am to 5.30pm, March 9 from 10am to 7pm, March 10 – 12 from 9am to 5.30pm. For the days 13 and 14 of March, tickets will be available from 9am to 5.30pm.

Travelling will be at ITB Berlin 2010 with its special editions of “Hellenic Travelling” and “Travelling News ITB Berlin Special Edition”, (last year’s issue of the special edition). Both of our publications will be available from the stand of the GNTO. As for our newspaper, Travelling News will also be available from the ITB Berlin International Trade Press Stand, following an agreement with ITB Berlin as we did last year and the past several years.
ITB Berlin International Trade Press Stand
The ITB Berlin International Trade Press Stand guarantees “Travelling News” free distribution at the world’s leading travel trade show and unbelievable awareness and visibility of “Travelling News” and the advertisers of that issue.
Since last year we pioneered using online video to report what was happening during the exhibition. You can take a glimpse by clicking on the link ITB Berlin 2009.
You can call us predictable, but at this years ITB Berlin 2010 we will do the same, with lots of improvements.
So, stay tuned.
